Golfing in Lindsay

Golfing in Lindsay is definitely a great location to pick for your next round of golf. With it being only an hour from the GTA, it is well worth the drive. After you escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enter the countryside, you’ll be able to enjoy the gorgeous views, the fresh country air and the calm setting of the area. Lindsay is definitely a place where you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your golf game on some great golf course layouts…well at least until you miss that putt!

Lindsay Golf and Country Club keeps you challenged with many water hazards and strategically placed bunkers around the green. With five sets of tees, this course has something for everyone, no matter what your level.

Built in 1991, Wolf Run Golf Course was the first 18 hole course in the area. This stunning course near the shores of Lake Scugog is always in great shape. The first thing that you’ll notice about Wolf Run, is their lengthy first hole- perfect for those long hitting golfers. Their beautiful greens and slow rolling fairways make this course a definite must play and the best bang for your buck.
Oliver’s Nest Golf Course is another beauty located just outside Lindsay. This course offers a variety of membership choices to meet your needs. With their quick greens, great prices and spectacular layout, Oliver’s Nest is a definite crowd pleaser.

Black Diamond Golf Club, is the newest 18 hole course in the Lindsay area, with its picturesque setting, you’ll enjoy the course as much as the views.  Established in 2005, this course is the longest in the area, with over 7030 yards from the tips to the greens.  Its open layout on the front nine combined with dog legs and blind shots on the back nine, Black Diamond will keep you on your toes.

9 Hole Lindsay Golf Courses

The Lindsay area also has its fair share of noteworthy 9 holes courses. Dunsford Golf and Country Club, just north of Lindsay is always in top shape.  This gorgeous course is truly a favorite, it is rated one of the top courses in the area, definitely worth checking out.

Crestwood Golf Club may seem like it’s just outside of Port Perry, but this 9 hole course is still in the Lindsay area.  Set in the countryside you’ll enjoy the serene landscape this course offers.  With their double tee layout, you can easily play another 9 holes and feel as though you’re on a different course.

Deer Run Golf Course is set along the Mariposa River and is considered a hidden gem among Lindsay golf Courses.  With their reasonable rates and friendly staff, this course is worth the drive.
