Toronto has many private Toronto golf courses, and are also some of the oldest in the city. They offer great membership packages and opportunities for guests to play with members. Established in 1876, the Toronto Golf Club is the oldest links in Toronto and the third oldest in North America. Rosedale Golf Club offers its members tree-lined fairways, lush green grass and a stunning layout. This gorgeous Toronto golf course was also home to the Canadian open in 1912 and 1928, making it a definite must play when golfing in the GTA.

Lambton Golf and Country Club was built along four tiers of the Humber River creating a 200 foot drop of spectacular course. The Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto is the only remaining private women’s golf facility in Toronto. This course offers female golfers an opportunity to play and learn in a safe and peaceful environment. Offering both a 9 and 18 hole layout, it’s like being a member at two courses for the price of one. The Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto has a variety of membership packages available, even some for men.

Toronto Public Golf Courses

There are a variety of Toronto public courses in the city, all easily accessible by Toronto Transit (TTC), and in just minutes you could find yourself on a tranquil course in the city.

Royal Woodbine Golf Club is one of the easiest to get to from just about any corner of the city. This challenging Toronto golf course lies near Mimico Creek Valley and offers lush fairways with pristine water hazards scattered throughout. Scarlett Woods is a definitely must play if you want to squeeze in a round of golf after work.

Tam O’Shanter Golf Club is another shorter city of Toronto golf course that offers its golfers a challenging round. Nestled along the Highland Creek this course has many mature trees, flowing water hazards and lush green fairways. For a great round of golf in the northeast end of the city visit Tam O’Shanter.

Toronto Driving Ranges, Golf Domes & Simulators

If you are looking to work on your swing there are several driving ranges in Toronto that you can visit. There are indoor Toronto Driving Ranges, Outdoor Toronto Driving Ranges as well as downtown Toronto driving ranges. Two of the most popular ones are the Polson Pier Driving Range and the Metro Golf Dome. A new addition to the city is the Lakeshore Links Indoor Golf facility. This is a new Toronto golf simulator location.
